دوربین مداربسته دام پاناسونیک WV-SFV130، دوربین تحت شبکه‌ای است که ویژگی‌های لازم برای نصب در محیط خارجی را داراست. این دوربین مدار بسته استاندارد IP66 را دارد که نشان‌دهنده عایق بودن و مقاومت خوب این دستگاه در برابر فشار آب و گرد‌وخاک است. همچنین در دمای حداکثر 60 و حداقل 40- درجه کارایی خود را حفظ می‌کند و در برابر خرابکاری مقاومت بسیار عالی با استاندارد IK10 را دارد؛ کد IK برای دوربین‌ها و لوازم الکترونیک خاص استفاده می‌شود و عدد 10 در این استاندارد نشانگر این است که دوربین مداربسته در برابر ضربه جسم سخت پنج کیلوگرمی که از فاصله 40 سانتی‌متری به آن برخورد ‌کند، مقاوم است.
این دوربین مداربسته پاناسونیک، تصاویر را با فرمت Full HD و وضوح تصویر 1080 پیکسل نشان می‌دهد و حداکثر نرخ فریم در آن 30 فریم در ثانیه است. این دوربین در روز و شب به صورت الکتریکال به تصویربرداری می‌پردازد و قادر است در حداقل 0.1 لوکس روشنایی به صورت رنگی و 0.08 لوکس روشنایی به صورت سیاه‌وسفید تصاویر را دریافت و ثبت کند.
دوربین مدل WV-SFV130 فناوری برنامه‌نویسی هوشمند دارد که به‌منظور تحقق بخشیدن به رمزگذاری کارآمد، اطلاعات غیرضروری را حذف می‌کند، همچنین قابلیت Auto VIQS دارد که به صورت خودکار مناطقی را که حرکتی در آن‌ها نیست، تشخیص می‌دهد و برای کاهش حجم داده‌ها، وضوح تصویر در آن‌ها را کم می‌کند. همچنین از قابلیت VIQS برخوردار است که با کمک آن می‌توان هشت منطقه را برای تصویربرداری با کیفیت بهتر مشخص کرد؛ در این حالت کیفیت تصویر در مناطق دیگر کاهش می‌یابد و در نتیجه از اندازه تصویر کوچک‌تر و نرخ بیت کمتر استفاده می‌شود.
این دوربین مدار بسته دام دارای زاویه دید افقی 108 درجه و عمودی 60 درجه است. همچنین محدوده حرکت افقی (Pan) آن از از 20- تا 20+ درجه و محدوده حرکت عمودی (Tilt) در آن از 20- تا 90+ درجه است.
